Antimagic Susceptibility. The sword is {@condition incapacitated} while in the area of an antimagic field. If targeted by dispel magic, the sword must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against the caster’s spell save DC or fall {@condition unconscious} for 1 minute.
False Appearance. While the item remains motionless and isn’t flying, it is indistinguishable from a normal, mundane version of itself.
Darkling Trait- Designate Wielder. You can Attune yourself to a creature as an Action. This works like one can attune themselves to a magical item, assuming the subject is willing and follows the usual restrictions for attunement. While attuned your fly speed becomes 50ft (hover) so long as you are within 50ft of your wielder and can communicate with them telepathically.
Darkling Trait – Possess Wielder. The item can force its wielder to roll Charisma against a DC 8 + Darkling Stat, becoming {@condition charmed} for 1d12 hours on a failed save. A charmed wielder must obey the item’s orders to the best of their abilities. If the charmed wielder takes damage, he may reroll his saving throw. Whether it saves or not, a creature targeted by this ability is immune to it for 24 hours.
Darkling Trait- Duplicate Aspect. This works like Lesser Duplicate Aspect, except for the following:
- You may learn the Aspect of any object, not just weapons.
- You may become at most Large sized (a weapon fit for a Huge creature) but can choose to take an Aspect in any size from Tiny to Large when you change shape.
Darkling Advancement- Magical Aspect Access. You may expend 4 Advancement points to increase the maximum rarity of items you can learn with Duplicate Aspect (reminder, it starts out at Uncommon).
Darkling Advancement- Genius Loci. You may expend 4 Advancement points to increase the maximum size of items you can learn with Duplicate Aspect (reminder, it starts out at Large). Beyond Gargantuan size, the Darkling may begin learning the Aspect of large vehicles and even buildings, for example:
Gargantuan -> Houses, Fishing boats, Siege Weapons -> Villas, Frigates, Towers -> Castles, Galleons, Caverns
Certain Objects may be smaller or bigger than average, and sized beyond these might exist.
Transforming into these forms requires longer periods of time: 1 hour per size above Gargantuan.
Darkling Advancement- Mind into Matter. Whenever you gain a CR, you gain an additional Hit Die (+4 hit points) and +1 to 2 different mental Attributes.

Longsword. {@atk mw} {@hit 3} to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. {@h}5 ({@damage 1d8 + 2}) slashing damage. You can use this attack even if wielded by another creature without issues for either of you. This is assuming they are willing to let you go, though! Otherwise, treat it as though you were Grappled.
